As a researcher who has spent the last decade collecting extensive records on carbon emissions and acid rain, I’ve looked at the effects of our society’s use of fossil fuels in our economy and our use of fossil fuels in the biosphere. There are many ways we can get off fossil fuels as we are used to them.
First, we will use solar energy as a source of electricity for the home, since it is a clean and renewable source of energy, while it replaces fossil fuels as the primary source of energy in our economy. Second, we can use windmills for energy to generate power for the home as well as for our local economy. Third, we can run cars on the power from our own windmills to provide power for our cities.
Lastly, the large scale businesses and large-scale manufacturers in our global economy can be automated and ran completely off wind and solar energy. If this can be done then this would greatly decrease our dependence on imported fossil fuels. All of these solutions seem like a far-fetchedfetched notion at first glance, but they can be quite feasible when we learn the right ways to approach them.
The most well-known solution is for government regulation to deal with the problem, but this requires the involvement of every business and independent research. This will be expensive and time consuming and would have to be done quickly to avert major damage to our economy. Furthermore, we do not want to directly control the production of the green energy products so there would have to be a market for it. However, there is a solution to this problem.
It all comes down to the fact that we must transfer the power of producing green energy from fossil fuels to renewable sources such as wind and solar energy. There are many companies that will purchase the power from windmills and solar panels in the form of electricity to sell to the public at a profit. These companies are often called solar power or wind power corporations.
They have the unique ability to transfer the green energy products from the solar panels and windmills to our local economy by purchasing the electricity at a very low price. Because there is a small profit margin they can pass that profit along to us by selling the electricity we buy to our local electric company for a high price.
Businesses and other small businesses will typically purchase these green power products directly from the power corporations for a small profit because they do not need to purchase large amounts of power. This means the price of electricity will be relatively low for them as well.
We must use this great solution to turn off our use of fossil fuels as soon as possible. Please consider all this in 2020.
