Direct Object Pronouns Spanish Worksheet with Answers by The Pillow Poets is a great workbook. I liked the format and the structure of the book. I wanted to learn some Spanish as I was bored of English for travel purposes. I came across this book and it was just what I needed.
The workbook is divided into nine sections, each section has an author’s bio, a sample chapter, practice sentence, and test questions. It took me five to six hours to finish the book. One section on gender and pronouns went over one-hundred five pages. The other seven chapters were shorter and going over the same information. One section was fifty pages long and another section was sixty-five pages long.
The author makes it clear that all the problems are aimed at helping learners of Spanish overcome their previous problems. He also says that beginners will do well in this book. He is not giving you the full workbook in its entirety. He only has one chapter out of the nine sections that is introductory level.
He also says that if you want a free sample chapter you can ask him if he has any, but if he does have one then the workbook doesn’t require the essay question to be done first. This is a very nice idea, so no need to spend your time asking questions first, but I thought it was a bit odd that he gave a free book with no questions, because you would normally get a bonus question with a free book. All the bonus questions are available for everyone’s complete study of the book.
There are three exercises in the book. There is an essay question and an essay and paragraph prompt. The essay prompt is different for each chapter. This is good since the author has the chapter as the assignment for the free book and he can help you with the grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation exercises. It makes learning more fun and it doesn’t mean you are bad at these things, it just means they are to be used when doing practice and not with a quiz, as you will see in the book.
The first paragraph prompt is that you go to Google, type in “pen and paper” and the pronoun assignment is at the top of the page. The second paragraph prompt is that you click on the sentence the author has written. Once there, choose the spelling check box and choose to view example sentences, then you will be given three sentences to write a response to.
This worksheet will also have a section on the latest technologies and how to use them in your conversations. This section talks about using text messaging, voice messaging, and video calling. The third section is on acting and how to master this skill. Then there is a section on taking notes and using sticky notes.
You will also get a section on practicing the audio version of songs from the radio and local newspaper or magazine that you listen to. There is a section on writing on the computer and drawing on the computer, and the section is about putting pictures on the computer. There is a section on doing handwriting for short and long term memory.
