Ever since I came across this article, I have been busy solving-problem number one. If you are wondering about the point method, then it is a fairly simple tool to use in teaching line and plane worksheets to your students. There are many different ways to teach using this method, but with the point method you have to focus on the end result, rather than the process.
You can do this by using a level theory. The method to teach using this theory is by having students type in one or more letters and numbers and then they can move their cursor over to see if it matches up to the letter they are looking at. They would then move their cursor up to the next letter and do the same with the next letter, and so on and so forth. This process continues until the first letter combination is found, after which the student can move onto the next letter, and so on and so forth.

This type of training process works really well for students when they first get started. If they are struggling with the process, then you can just ask them to skip a letter or two. They will quickly pick up on the basic skills and once they are comfortable, then they can move onto the next levels.
This process is great for students to practice using the point method in solving problems in their worksheets. When you show them how to use the level theory, they will be able to use the methods they learned from their teacher without having to go back and learn the old way. Then when they master these methods, then they can move onto higher levels and so on and so forth.
Now, here is where the problem comes in, is that we don’t seem to have any type of real content within our workbook. We know how to teach using the level theory, but we don’t seem to have any ideas or worksheets that show students how to use it. When the students start to get frustrated with the process and say that they need to learn the theory on their own, then it is time to start looking for some sort of solution.
Fortunately, there is software that allows you to teach using the point method, but you have to get the right type of software to allow you to teach using this method. Not all of the software that I have used is created for teaching this way, so make sure that you check into that before you buy the software. You want software that is simple to use and also has exercises that will help the students use the point and plane theory.
I personally use a program called Pencilpad, which uses pencil and paper to teach point and plane theory. It is a great program to use and I really feel confident in the way that I teach students using this method. It is easy to use, and with enough practice students will start to think like a native.
You can really help teach train students how to use the point and plane method by simply asking them to take the time to create worksheets. It is a relatively easy way to help a child learn this method, and it is so important to remember.
