One last tip is to show your child how it is important to believe in God in order to achieve your goals. Show your child a picture of the globe with the US and all the continents around the world as well as God’s name. Simply say, “And I’m sorry that God couldn’t go with us on this trip, but He’s working to make our lives better every day.”
Lastly, just remember that God isn’t going to do things for you that you don’t want Him to do. As a parent, it is up to you to keep God in your life and it is your job to show your child how important it is to get a good education. If you have any doubts, simply say, “What’s your opinion of colleges?”
