We also find out that a person named “Magic” has been using a laptop that belongs to Maier.
However, “Magic” happens to be a teenager who is working at Maier’s place. One of the reasons that the hacker, “The Stranger,” wanted to plant a virus in Maier’s computer is so that Maier would never be able to prove his innocence and use the incident as evidence to prove his guilt. What happens next may surprise you.
The hacker had a program which he used to disguise himself as Magic. He set up multiple passwords on Maier’s computer, one of which was “DOTAPASS”. One password, “DOTAPASS”, was “comcast”, “tele-communications company”, which was known as the “Comcast Password”. It turns out that “The Stranger” used the Comcast Password, “comcast”, to hack into Maier’s computer.
