The last few times I wrote this and got to the end, I realized that I needed a Worldwide Depression Worksheet. As you can probably tell, this worksheet is a little different than the others I’ve done.
The main reason why this worksheet is different is because of the definitions and ideas in the idea section. There are so many people out there who don’t understand inflation or money or anything like that. They only know that it’s there to help them make their life easier. In this worksheet, we have some definitions.
The first definition is about the basic idea. We start by defining inflation. We define the ratio of prices to the actual value of the money that is printed.
Then we go on to talk about what it means for the US dollar to increase in value, which is also one of the definitions. Then we finish with a little history lesson, which was another definition.
Next, we have our definition of debt. It comes down to this: when a company goes out and takes in money for something, and then, they owe the money back. What that means is that the company gives up something of value and owes the creditor of the company.
After that, we move on to the work portion of the worksheet. Here, we talk about people, business, and sometimes have us talk about the state of the economy in the country.
I think the last time we talked about the economy, we started with the phrase “Things are getting worse.” This worksheet answers a question: Are things getting worse?
We start with this: Yes, they are getting worse, and this is based on the fact that the number of people in poverty increased by five million and the number of people in poverty increased by eight million. I hope you all enjoyed this worksheet.
