The Ser Estar Worksheet or Ser Estar, as it is also called, is a fun way to improve your academic performance, which I have been using with my son. We first noticed its usefulness when we were home-schooling our two sons in the ninth grade. Our older son had a wonderful teacher, but because of his lower math and science scores on his SAT’s, we didn’t feel that he could make up the difference by learning math and science independently.
Because we wanted him to be able to read, write, and speak English, it was imperative that he had some sort of foundation in these subjects. This is where the Ser Estar Worksheet came into play. I decided to teach him this worksheet as a companion activity to his math workbook, rather than using it as an all-purpose learning tool.
Of course, he did not like being pulled away from his favorite video games to help me do my homework! I also wasn’t so sure that my son would learn any more if I were to use the worksheet in isolation. But I knew that the worksheet was needed, so I decided to do something about it.
That something turned out to be the worksheet. And not just any worksheet, but a good worksheet. And the way to get a good worksheet was by purchasing the Estar worksheet set, which was made specifically for home-schooled children.
These are not, however, the only worksheets out there. There are many others that work just as well and can help to supplement a child’s education. They can be great tools for parents who don’t want to spend hours in front of the computer.
The reason that the Estar worksheet set is so useful is that they allow you to focus on doing the actual study time you want. You don’t have to worry about checking your emails while you’re doing your math homework. And the worksheet can take all of the stress out of measuring the proper amounts of time spent on a particular task.
After you have an idea of how much time you need to allot for a given task, you can transfer that amount to your math homework, for example. But instead of depending on a computer program to show you what to do, this worksheet makes it easy to monitor how much you’re working, and when you’ve gone over.
Don’t discount the worksheet for using it as a mindless task-saver. It’s still a valuable learning tool. But it’s so much easier than using a book or computer program, that it makes the Ser Estar Worksheet one of the best learning tools ever.
