Identifying Adjectives is a worksheet that can be used by anyone who wants to learn how to describe words. It can be used in place of a large vocabulary test. It is particularly useful for those students who do not have the time or patience to go through large amounts of vocabulary that they will encounter throughout the course of their education. It does not require much attention to understand and it does not require much attention to remember.
First, the worksheet contains more than one hundred eight hundred and sixty-seven adjectives. It lists each adjective, its root word, and the corresponding number of times it appears. There are sixteen different adjectives listed, including one per entry, and each entry consists of five letters and a six-digit number.
Second, the worksheet is divided into two sections, “Adjectives, adverbs, and verbs”Adjectives and adverbs.” In the first section, the students are required to write an adjective on the left side and the verb on the right side. They can then write the meaning of the adjective on the right side and write the root word and its corresponding number on the left side. When using the worksheet, the words in the root of an adjective must be spelled out and capitalized.
In the second section, the students are required to write an adjective and then the corresponding adverb. They can write the meaning of the adverb first, followed by the root word. The adverb must be written last.
Third, in addition to the sixteen basic adjectives listed in the worksheet, there are twenty-four adverbs and fourteen verbs. Some verbs are very common and some are very rare. There are also six uncommon verbs listed. The seventeen adverbs and fourteen verbs each appear once.
Fourth, the students have the option of purchasing individual workbooks. If the student chooses to purchase the worksheet, they will need to print it out at home. On the back of the worksheet there will be directions for where to put the completed worksheet into the computer for easy reference later.
Fifth, the students follow the directions in the directions on the back of the worksheet. In order to successfully complete the writing task, the student must have the knowledge of the underlying meanings of the words that they are using to construct their sentences.
Sixth, students who wish to enroll in the class must do so before the deadline of May 1st. The instructors will contact them to let them know what they must do in order to earn their NCEES degree. Following this notification, students are able to purchase the worksheet. Once the deadline has passed, the students can no longer purchase the worksheet.
