If you are going to use the Classroom Media Worksheets, you will need to follow instructions for them, and I suggest that you print them out before you place your order. You will be able to take the worksheets to class with you and they will be a great way to help children learn. Remember to follow the instructions given on all of the sheets, this is where the fun will come in.
When you are first looking at the worksheets, you may feel that you don’t have a clue about how to follow them, or if you do know how to follow them then you may not want to continue the work. The Instruction Sheet is the first step in learning. When you are done with the Instruction Sheet you can move on to the next worksheet and then the next one. There are not many limits on the number of sheets you can use. There are a few things you should be aware of, and these are as follows:
The first step in each sheet is to write the Subject that you want the sheet to cover. This subject should be covered in the class, and should be something that you know very well.
The second step in each sheet is to complete the essay. For each subject you will write an essay, for example, “I am going to read on this subject…” or “we are going to read this work…” or other variations of this, depending on the subject you want to read.
Next is to get students to read it. Ask them to read the section aloud and make sure that they understand what they are reading. Also let them know that the sheet is not a “how to” manual and they should not copy this word for word from the sheet.
Lastly, come back after the class has ended and check to see if there were any mistakes. If there were no mistakes, tell students how you might have been able to help them more effectively. If there were mistakes, simply correct them and give positive feedback, like saying “You did great!”
Review the worksheets. If you have found a topic that you wish to focus on, review the subject again on a different sheet. Take time to review the directions to help reinforce the subjects you have chosen.
Reading worksheets can help the students get their mind off of boring books. They can be used to help you learn in a way that fits into your classroom, they can also be used to help your students to improve on a skill. So next time you have classes set up with some reading help wanted ads, you may want to consider taking advantage of the extra attention that these will get.
