If you’re like me, you probably think there is some complicated “intellectual”sophisticated” set of rules you can use to succeed. The fact is, that’s just not true. They work because they are very simple and logical. You can use this simple system to help you achieve your goals and plans and to improve yourself.
The Intention Setting Worksheet is a tool you can use. It isn’t some novel science. It is just a system to help you find your reason for doing something. When you understand what the system is all about, you will find the reason you have for doing it.
Let’s take an example to help illustrate this. You could use the Worksheet to see if there was a goal you wanted to achieve. How would you do this? You would just fill in your reasons for wanting to achieve the goal, which would include: to help people, to achieve financial freedom, to achieve freedom, to find the true meaning of life, etc.
Once you see the reason for why you want to achieve your goal, you can put the reason into words. You could write it down or say it out loud. This is the important part, because you will be using this reasoning for the rest of your life, unless you change your reason.
Now you have a system that is logical, so it works. When you take the next step and write your reason for something you are doing, you will have already changed the reasoning behind why you did what you did. And that will change your life.
What if you are unsure of something you are doing? It is okay. You can do a deep introspection before you commit yourself to anything. After that, just work with your new reasoning and goals.
So what are your reasons for doing something? Make them simple and logical. Find your reason. Write it down and when you start changing your reasoning, you will find that the reason you used will change as well.
The good news is, you don’t have to do a lot of work to change your reason. You can work with your reasons to achieve your goals and plans. Then you will also have changed your life.
