Principles Of Ecology Worksheet Answers

The Principles of Ecology worksheet is a great guide for anyone that’s ever used the term. Now, I’m sure you’ve all heard about the “laws of ecology.” But you might be wondering exactly what they are. What are the laws of ecology?

They are actually three laws. One is the Law of Cause and Effect. This law states that every event has a cause. You see, whenever something happens, it has to have an effect on someone else. Something that just happened is just as likely to happen again in the future if not more.

Causality is also part of the law of cause and effect. Every event has an effect that causes another event to occur. Whenever we look at our lives we see cause and effect. We know that eating food causes other bodily functions to occur. We know that when something happens in our lives, it will have an effect on us.

So what are the other two laws? First is called the Law of Non-Existence. This law states that nothing exists. As stated by the philosopher William of Ockham, “Nothing exists, not even the things that cannot be conceived.”

So, you might ask, “What does that mean?” It means that nothing really exists. It’s just an empty space that no one could exist in.

The second law is called the Law of Unity in Diversity. This states that, wherever there is life, there is diversity. It is observed that there are two separate worlds, one where animals are, and one where they aren’t. Every place that contains living creatures is constantly under the influence of another world, that’s over there.

The third law is called the Law of Inertia. As stated by the great philosopher Aristotle, “Unity is always in time, and in space, but inertial motion never so since nothing in time or space ever changes or quits itself.” This law simply states that motion never makes any movement. If something does move, it just moves from one place to another and never stops. So, in the end, the Law of Inertia states that whatever exists is always in motion.

Hopefully, you’ve learned a little more about the Principles of Ecology worksheet. These three laws, known as the “Principle of Inertia,” “Principle of Unity in Diversity,” and “Principle of Unanimity,” are the laws of nature. For all the reasonings, considerations, explanations, and explanations I could give you about these laws, I’ll leave it to you to figure out which one fits your life best. Enjoy!
