A Newton’s Laws of Motion review worksheet answers a few questions. You want to be sure that your child understands them. This can be the start of a lifetime of studying and the answer to the question, “how come I don’t know this?” You may think that it is silly for your child to ask such a question, but if you learn from the review worksheet, you will be amazed at how much your child really needs it.
The first thing that your child will learn is how to read, and how to think about things at a young age. Your child will then have a solid foundation upon which he can build his future education. He will get a lot of good information on the subject of Newton’s Laws and be able to give explanations about them to his teachers when he is older.
What your child will learn in his studies is called action and reaction. Your child will learn that there are two directions of action and reaction. The direction of action will direct a movement toward an object, and the direction of the reaction will direct a movement away from an object. He will also learn that if an object moves toward another object, it must move faster than the former. If it moves away from the former, it must move slower than the former.
Next, your child will learn that objects do not stay in one place. They can bounce, spin, jump, slide, or slide back, and come to a stop. A fall is a simple example.
There are also objects that are stationary, but still move in time with the other objects in motion. Your child will learn that if an object is still, it is still. It can be dragged, shoved, or thrown.
Going to sleep is one of the most common examples of motion. When you are asleep, you move slower than when you are awake. When you are moving, your head moves along with the rest of your body, and when you are still the head moves slightly slower than the rest of the body.
Reaction is why your car doesn’t drive on the right side of the road. For an object to move, it must go through some sort of friction. If the object is stopped by something that prevents it from moving, it will continue to move without moving at all.
Some people will say that Newton’s Laws are crazy. When they learn that we humans are living beings, and that we live on Earth, it seems easier to believe them. It is only when we stop believing in ourselves that we find that we are traveling down dead ends, and we find that our solutions are always wrong.
