The concept of the Integration by Parts Worksheet is so simple. You input your data from a specific cell, do a little analysis and merge the results into another section.
There is a common problem with Excel that most people don’t know about: to remove unwanted information, you have to go through all the cells on the left hand side. As soon as you select a new cell in the left column, the whole range on the right of the cell is removed from the range on the left.
You might wonder why the Integration by Parts Worksheet exists. What is it? Before you continue, you need to understand that the Worksheet that will transform the cells (the Integration Worksheet) is different from the ‘Workbook’ that allows you to work on the data that you input.
If you use the Worksheet, the Range Wizard will run on the sheet itself. It will hide cells in the sheet that have not been used. The Design Toolbox will be active because the sheet will hide the unused cells. When you switch back to the spreadsheet, you can now see the designs in place.
The Integration by Parts Worksheet will use different tabs. The tab-bed set will display the section of cells that has already been examined by the Worksheet and will include the cells that have not been used in the last analysis and look at. The other tabs of the Worksheet will contain the data that has been analyzed and can only be viewed after you have done the whole analysis.
The pane that runs the Analysis Wizard is where you will enter the comparison factors. These compare the field on the right-hand side against the Data Configuration that has been entered and determine whether the results are similar to what you want. If there is a difference, then the data will be shown in the list.
The last step in the process is the ‘Calculation’ section, which is where you will enter the actual calculations that will be performed. This will show the results of the calculation along with the formulas. It is these formulas that will be used to create the new database.
The Integration by Parts Worksheet is basically a special form of the Visual Basic Script. It allows you to enter your data, analyze the data, and create the new database.
