Change the Constitution by Changing Yourself is a great teaching tool that I personally use when teaching this important and timeless topic. The idea behind Changing the Constitution by Changing Yourself is that the words “government by the people and for the people” are not enough anymore to guide us in a society that seems so divided and our citizenry is so divided too. Even though we all agree that our governments need to be representative of the people, sometimes our governments only allow politicians to manipulate them and lead them down a road they don’t want to go. As an example, what happens when we elect someone to Congress who wants to reduce social services while increasing military spending?
Using the ICAIX System, or the Index of Contributing Factors, I was able to write the book because I wasn’t satisfied with the teaching tools I was given by my former college. Now that I’ve applied what I learned from Changing the Constitution by Changing Yourself, I have great faith in the abilities of others in the best way possible and know that I will always be a better person because of it.
Although I had several professors and administrators at the university that told me that I needed to stay in a certain direction, I was very open minded and realized that it was only because of all the criticism I was receiving for it that I knew I could do better. This has also motivated me to continue my educational work as a business owner, entrepreneur, and even a speaker who teach social issues and economics. Change the Constitution by Changing Yourself is also my passion and motivation to always strive to do the best I can every single day.
These books need to be understood by everyone to the point where we could put these two principles together. We all need to be able to lead ourselves and other citizens that we are in the direction that we want them to go. We need to teach them how to change the constitution so that they can then act like a government will protect their rights, while making laws that are still constitutional in the future.
We need to recruit other state representatives in order to make sure that our community is protected at all times. Since so many individuals are not aware of what the Founding Fathers had in mind, they cannot see the state as anything other than a bunch of criminals out to steal from the people and take what they want from them. We cannot let these tyrants are successful in our communities.
It is time for each and every person in our society to stand up for what is right and make changes that will get rid of the evils that our country and our present society are dealing with now, and what we will face in the future. It is time to remember the Constitution and keep it alive and help make America a better place to live.
